Artist's foreword

was created from the desire to reinterpret the Eros’ theme, historically present in paintings and in ancient and modern literature, coloring it however with new tints, nearly like a comic-strip, that merge together with a clear taste for the Art Nouveau style.

The theme represented is inspired by the classic concept of “Profane Love” that includes heterosexuality and homosexuality, underlining the tendency of divine creatures to identify human passions, enjoyed materially and not spiritually, typical of pagan religiosity.

The “human angels” perfectly incarnate this profane vision of mysticism, materializing themselves in the artistic subjects created and offered.

The precious materials selected serve to unequivocally point out this materialism, which is thus definitively detached from any initial spirituality to satisfy a wholly earthy taste for life.

On the other hand, silver, gold, diamonds and precious gems are well placed in the context of an ideal “Eden” that houses mines of universally conceived beauty as the fulcrum of timeless elegance.
